I received this little bracelet from a student at ASP.
I had asked her about her weekend (I knew she went to a really exciting concert) and she instantly lit up and said “Do you want a bracelet? What kind?” I said, “I’d love it and surprise me!”
She picked this one and just beamed while I put it on. It made my whole year. I treasure these kiddos and making them smile, even on…nay, especially on…the tough days!!!

ABOUT ME
Hello there!
My name is Brandie Ulland. I am originally from Lakota, ND and graduated from Lakota High School. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology Education with a STEM endorsement from VCSU.
I became the STEM Coordinator for Lakota Public Schools in 2020. We received a generous grant from the Bayer Farmers Grow Rural Education Fund and were able to establish this program. I am very excited to take it into the future! In addition to STEM coordinator, I help out the school in other roles: K-12 substitute teacher, LEGO Robotics coach, and HS SADD advisor. I have also served as a HS paraprofessional and drama co-advisor.
My husband Josh and I live in Lakota, and have 5 children: Tommy, Shay, Aubry, Henry, and Ridge. We have a dog named Zeke and a cat named Aslan. In my spare time I enjoy reading, listening to music, singing, watching true crime documentaries, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
